24.11.194428 peopleBerlin to Ravensbrück
What happened
Unlike earlier "Osttransporte", this group did not go to Auschwitz: the Gestapo sent separate lists of men and women, and testimonies and International Tracing Service records show the women taken to the Ravensbrück concentration camp and the men to Sachsenhausen.
The people on this transport
The names of the people on this transport are being compiled. We are working from the Memorial Book of the German Federal Archives and the surviving transport lists, and add each name only once it has been checked against them.
