Notes on the sources

Berlin designation in the deportation lists: "117. Theresienstadttransport" (statistik-des-holocaust.de); Theresienstadt registration number I/123. Survivors: holocaust.cz has no transport page and no victim records for this transport; Rita Meyhöfer (cited by Yad Vashem): 14 known survivors. Station: only the Anhalter Bahnhof memorial plaque names the station; Yad Vashem says only "from Berlin" (assembly camp: Jewish Hospital, Iranische Straße). Last transport from Berlin to Theresienstadt. statistik-des-holocaust.de: 24 of the 42 people were listed by the Gestapo as the "63. Osttransport" with destinations Sachsenhausen (11) and Ravensbrück (13), but were all sent to Theresienstadt with this transport; 16 came from the Berlin district office. Yad Vashem gives the departure as "27 March or 28 March 1945". Station caveat: Yad Vashem (entry for I/107) states that Anhalter Bahnhof was heavily damaged and closed permanently in February 1945, which casts doubt on the plaque’s attribution of this transport to Anhalter Bahnhof; no other source naming the station was found. survivorsCount is taken from Meyhöfer (via Yad Vashem), the only figure found; it may be incomplete.
