Notes on the sources
Count disputed: Gottwaldt/Schulle give two figures, 956 and 1,030 (berlin.de "956 (1030)"; the Bundesarchiv chronology prints "966/1030"); Yad Vashem "956–1,030" (965 names in the Berlin memorial book); Gleis 17 plate 956. Stiftung Denkmal describes "über 1.000 Menschen", the Berlin–Minsk memorial book (Reuss/Schneider 2013) "1000". 1,030 recorded as the figure most consistent with these; treat as approximate. Survivors: German Wikipedia cites Petra Rentrop (2011) for 4 survivors; not independently verified, so left null. Station: Yad Vashem, Stiftung Denkmal and the Tagesspiegel state Grunewald.
